Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of word processing and computing; familiarity with the Microsoft Windows or Mac environments and, preferably, a basic understanding of database functionality

Objectives:

  • identify the different ports, modems, and locations used when traveling with Notes 6.
  • create a database replica in order to work on databases remotely.
  • identify the methods that determine replication schedules and the creation of partial replicas in Lotus Notes 6.
  • access Notes Mail remotely using a replica, configure replication settings, and replicate the replica.
