  • recognize when to upgrade the Windows operating system and explain how to perform the procedure.
  • describe the normal and alternate boot methods of Windows 9x and Windows 2000 and configure multiboot configurations.
  • install device drivers and applications in a Windows operating system.

  • describe some common boot problems and explain how to resolve them.
