Overview/Description
To identify the features of the Cisco Works Management Center firewalls and the processes for managing the PIX Firewall via the Firewall MC, configure traffic access and a global security policy, and deploy the configuration to the PIX Firewall

Prerequisites
Experience in configuring Cisco IOS software; certification as a CCNA or the equivalent knowledge; a basic knowledge of the Windows operating system; familiarity with the networking and security terms and concepts

Objectives:
Introduction to Enterprise PIX Firewall Management
identify the features and components of the Cisco Works Management Center firewalls and its hardware requirements.
work with the PIX Firewall setup dialog and bootstrap commands and Cisco Works user authorization roles.
recognize the basic user task flow for Firewall MC operations and import devices with the Import configuration from device import type.
install Management Center, configure default PIX configuration, create a group, and import PIX Firewalls.
identify how settings and building blocks and access and translation rules can be configured.
identify how to administer the Firewall MC server.
import a PIX Firewall and configure the inside and outside interfaces.
onfigure an address translation pool, building blocks, service definitions, and groups.
create translation rules, and configure a PIX Firewall to allow HTTP and CiscoWorks traffic to the inside host.
configure a global security policy, and deploy a configuration to the PIX Firewall.
