Objectives:

Getting Started with Works 6.0

  • use the Works Task Launcher and Help pane.
  • use the Works Word Processor to create a document
  • enter information and perform calculations in the Works Spreadsheet.
  • describe how to create and use a database in Works.
  • create and use templates in Microsoft Works.
  • understand Works automation, use the Address Book, create a form letter, and carry out selective mailing.
  • use Works wizards to create a letter, a graph, and a database.
  • open and view the Microsoft Works Calendar.
  • manage appointments and categories in the Microsoft Works Calendar.
  • create events and reminders in the Calendar.
  • find and print appointments and events in the Works Calendar.
  • save a Microsoft Works document as a file, open a saved document, and create a shortcut to a document on their desktop.
  • use the Works Task Launcher to find files stored on their computer and use Windows Explorer to manage their files.
  • create a new folder and add, copy, and save files into it.
