Communication Tools

Overview/Description
What kind of leadership are you providing? Are you a powerful communicator? Communication is a two-way process. Are you able to send and receive messages effectively? Receiving involves listening for content, asking questions, and providing feedback. In this course, you'll learn about the steps in the listening process and how you can actively engage them in the listening process to ensure everyone is receiving the same message. Effective questions are a leader's most essential tool. You'll learn how to ask the right questions to get the information you need and, at the same time, stimulate the views and opinions of others. You'll learn about the ways to assess progress, problem-solve, and motivate through the use of feedback. And you'll explore the use of silent messages and how interpreting and using body language can add to your communication success.
