To explain how the personal computer works and to introduce some of its components and their functions

End-users wishing to attain a wider knowledge of IT and Internet concepts and competence in the use of word-processing, spreadsheet, presentation, e-mail, and database applications

Prerequisites
A basic knowledge of the PC and computing concepts (for example an ability to use the keyboard and mouse)
