Managing Yourself Through Change Simulation

Overview/Description
In a world of ever-changing organizations, the one constant is change itself. Since change is an unavoidable fact of life, how well you manage yourself through change can make a world of difference in your future employability. Though the task of managing yourself through change may seem daunting at first, when approached with an open mind, it is in fact a unique opportunity to take on new challenges and to learn new skills. Your role: As a manager in the purchasing department of newly acquired Computer Components Unlimited, you will have to manage yourself and those around you through the change process as the new parent company, Global Components, implements changes in operations and management. It doesn't help that Global has moved into your building and onto your turf. New management will be looking to make some changes that will tear at the very fabric of your daily business routine. Through four different scenarios, you will explore how well you prepare yourself for change, and then manage yourself and your subordinates through the change process. This simulation is based on the SkillSoft series "Managing Yourself through Change" and has links to the following courses: PD0331, PD0332, and PD0333.
