Project Resource Planning

Overview/Description
John Pierpont Morgan stated that, "the wise man bridges the gap by laying out the path by means of which he can get from where he is to where he wants to go." This is sound advice when planning the resources of your project. You need to plan ahead to get where you want to be. Cost overruns are one of the most common occurrences in project management. A successful project is one that meets its objectives on time and within the approved budget. To do this, you must plan in advance for it. This course will take you through the steps of resource planning required in managing a project. Based on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Guide, this course will help you understand how to determine resources needed and how to manage these resources throughout a project.
