Project Initiation and Planning (PMBOK 2000)
Overview/Description
Effective project scope management begins with a well-thought-out plan. By taking the right steps up front, before project kickoff, scope management can be a painless and satisfying process. With proper planning, you can avoid a weak or unrealistic work breakdown structure, seemingly endless scope modifications, and confusion among your team regarding reporting and work responsibilities. This course walks you through the steps to initiate scope management tasks and also introduces you to the scope planning process.
This course is aligned with "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge" (PMBOK ® Guide) 2000 Edition, published by the Project Management Institute (PMI ®).
