Decontamination (HAZWOPER)
Overview/Description
This training provides information concerning decontamination, which is the process of removing contaminants that have collected on workers and equipment. Decontamination protects you from hazardous substances that may contaminate and eventually penetrate protective clothing, respiratory equipment, tools, vehicles, and other equipment used on-site. It also prevents the movement of contaminants from the site to the community.
The content in this course is designed to comply with the intent of the applicable regulatory requirements.
