Industrial Hygiene Introduction


Overview/Description
This course offers an overview of industrial hygiene, the set of principles that make a workplace safe. The primary focus of the course is teaching how to create and maintain a safety and health system. Safety and health systems are sets of processes and regulations at a worksite, designed for that worksite, that provide for safe operations and employee health, as well as serving as a foundation for functional team building. Course topics include an overview of industrial hygiene, discussion of specific industrial hygiene hot topics, payoffs of safety and health systems, components of safety and health systems, the process of work site analysis, and information about how to create a sustainable work site safety and health system.
