Chemical Hazard Communications


Overview/Description
This course is intended to outline the provisions necessary for an employer to comply with the Hazard Communication Standard (HCS). This standard is based on the simple concept that employees have a right to know the hazards and identities of the chemicals they are exposed to in the workplace. This course will familiarize learners with the standard and cover topics such as types of chemical hazards, identifying and communicating information about chemicals in the workplace, and preparing and implementing a hazard communication program. This course is designed to align to OSHA standard Title 29 CFR 1910.1200.
