Process Safety Management


Overview/Description
This course is intended to outline the provisions necessary for an employer to comply with the Process Safety Management (PSM) standard. This standard emphasizes the management of hazards associated with highly hazardous chemicals and establishes a comprehensive management program that integrates technologies, procedures, and management practices. This course will familiarize learners with the standard and will cover topics such as process hazard analysis, how to document operating procedures, how to analyze management of change, how to ensure mechanical integrity, how to train personnel, and how to identify the requirements of preparing against and investigating accidents. This course is designed to align to OSHA Standard 1910.119.
