DOT 4: Loading and Storage

Overview/Description
 This one-hour training course will introduce the requirements of the Department of Transportation's Hazardous Materials Regulations, including the interpretation of the segregation table, general guidelines for shipping papers, loading and unloading HAZMAT, and incident reporting requirements. The proper identification, preparation, and transportation of hazardous materials affect everyone's safety. This training course may be used to meet the requirements for general awareness/familiarization training. Your employer will provide additional function-specific training.

 All personnel involved in the packaging, preparation, and handling of HAZMAT for highway transportation
