Overview/Description
 This training course will introduce the requirements of the International Air Transport Association's Hazardous Materials Regulations, including required documentation to transport dangerous goods (Shipper's Declaration for Dangerous Goods and Air Waybill). This training course may be used to meet the requirements for general awareness/familiarization training. Your employer will provide additional function-specific training. The content in this course is designed to comply with the intent of the applicable regulatory requirements.


Target Audience
 All personnel involved in the packaging, preparation, and handling of HAZMAT for airway transportation

  • identify circumstances that require entries in the quantity and type of packing sequence.
  • identify the meaning of symbols used in the List of Dangerous Goods.
  • cite the required elements to be found on an air waybill for shipment of dangerous goods.
