Java 2 Advanced: Networking and Sockets

Overview/Description
This course, Java 2 Advanced: Networking and Sockets, discusses advanced Java concepts including networking basics and using Telnet, and using sockets to create programs that allow you to send and receive information using both the TCP and the UDP protocols.

Target Audience
You should have an understanding of basic and intermediate Java programming concepts, as well as experience with Data Handling, I/O, Readers and Writers, FileDialog, and StringTokenizer.

Expected Duration
This course, including the practice exercises, will take up to 4 hours to complete.
