  • differentiate CMOS setup settings.
  • modify the boot sequence and ports, using BIOS.
  • differentiate motherboard types and their components.
  • differentiate between CPU chips in terms of their basic characteristics.
  • identify the characteristics of a chipset, expansion slots, AGP slots, and local bus architectures.
  • identify examples of expansion slots and connectors.
