  • install printers, monitors, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs).
  • install analog dial-up, DSL, and cable modems.
  • install infrared and wireless devices, and connect a digital camera and a PDA to a computer.
  • install a modem.
  • identify procedures for upgrading BIOS, the CPU, memory, and motherboards.
  • upgrade adapter cards, hard drives, and portable computers in given scenarios.
  • upgrade a laptop and PC in a given scenario.
