  • use Sysedit and Msconfig to edit system files.
  • distinguish between alternative boot options under Windows 9x, NT, 2000 and XP.
  • create an emergency disk with utilities installed for Windows 9x, NT, 2000 and XP.
  • create emergency disks under Windows 98, Windows 2000 and XP.
