Overview/Description
The Human Resource Certification Institute's (HRCI) certification examinations cover a broad range of workforce planning and employment issues, including the theories and applications of employee training and training program development. As a human resources professional, you are responsible for helping to ensure that your company's workforce possesses the skills, knowledge and abilities to meet the current and future needs of the company. This course will help you prepare for the HRCI certification examinations in the areas of employee training and development. In the area of employee training, you will learn methods for effectively training adult learners and techniques for aligning all training programs with your company's strategic goals. This course will also help you understand the necessary steps for developing effective employee development programs. All the topics in this course are based on the HR Development functional area of the HR Body of Knowledge recommended by the Society for Human Resource Management, or SHRM.
