The US Constitution


Overview/Description
This course looks at how the US Constitution was established. It provides insight into how the form of the national government came to be. It also provides coverage of the rights and liberties of the American people as enshrined in the Bill of Rights and subsequent amendments to the Constitution. Finally, the course looks at how the power was distributed and the creation of the three branches of government: the legislature, the executive, and the judiciary. This course meets the training compliance requirements mandated under the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2005, Public Law 108-447, requiring federal employees to be trained on the US Constitution.

Federal government employees; employees of federal agencies; supervisors of federal employees; managers of federal employees; employees who buy goods and services from the private sector for the federal government; employees who deal with the public who are looking to obtain permits, licenses, and address other regulatory needs
