The previous CBT Systems courses in the COBOL curriculum

Objectives:

COBOL: Advanced Programming

  • To explain how to process tables of varying dimensions
  • To describe how to write code for a print program, design a report on a print chart, and use the WRITE statement
  • To explain the logic behind control-break processing, and how to code a single-level and a multiple-level control break
  • To familiarize you with the CALL statement and its USING clause, the COPY statement, and embedded SQL
